Carnot Game Description
Carnot Game is an engaging game centered around the Carnot Cycle, where the participant must shift among three thermal sources (heated, insulating, and cooled) to optimize the work performed on the piston of a cylinder. The objective is to maintain the piston functioning in the ideal Carnot cycle, executing the transitions between sources at the appropriate times to prevent the cylinder from bursting or freezing. The nearer the player is to the Carnot cycle, the greater their score and advancement.
The participant must click the button to alternate between the thermal sources of the system, remembering to execute the transitions at the right moments to prevent the piston from seizing up or the cylinder from detonating. The Carnot cycle is composed of four thermodynamic processes.
